weew!!! i was so happy when i saw this on tv last night! we have our very own surfing academy right here in ortigas! since i wasnt able to surf in siargao (because i was too scared of the "stuff" under the ocean and the squishy stuff that you might step on while walking to the surf area) i really want to try this one out! since i had a blast in CWC (wakeboarding) im positive that i would enjoy surfing minus all those gory stuff that you dont see under the ocean.. i checked thier site and here is what they had to say..
"The most consistent surf spot in the Philippines has just been exposed by the Philippine Surfing Academy! And it’s right here in Manila. This spot is great for surfers of all levels. With no jelly fish, sea urchins, rips and undertows, beginners wouldn’t find a safer and easier spot elsewhere. For the more advanced surfers, it’s the best workout for your surfing fitness and you will get rides, but don't expect anything scary. It’s also a very effective way to improve your paddling and wave catching skills. With left-hander and right hander waves at a push of a button, this place is the most consistent surf spot of the country delivering waves every second! And its 30 minutes away from Ortigas Center! Check out the videos on this site!"
